[b]2011 National Aviation Hall of Fame Enshrinement Dinner and Ceremony[/b] On July 16, 2011 the National Aviation Hall of Fame will celebrate the induction of four individuals, the Enshrinee Class of 2011, at its 50th Annual Enshrinement Dinner & Ceremony at the Dayton Convention Center. The four to be enshrined and their presenters are: [list][*][b]The late Capt. Iven Kincheloe, USAF[/b] - Korean War jet ace and record-setting test pilot hailed as "The First Man in Space." Presenting will be 1979 Enshrinee and former astronaut, [b]Neil Armstrong[/b]. Accepting will be Capt. Kincheloe's widow, Mrs. Dorothy Kincheloe. [*][b]Col. Charles E. McGee, USAF (Ret)[/b] - WWII Tuskegee Airman and veteran of 409 fighter combat missions flown throughout three wars. Presenting will be 1982 Enshrinee and former astronaut, [b]Frank Borman[/b]. Accepting will be Col. McGee. [*][b]Dr. S. Harry Robertson[/b] - Engineer and inventor of crashworthy helicopter fuel systems, and a pioneer of crash investigation and aerospace safety. Presenting will be former Army Vice Chief of Staff, General Richard Cody (Ret.). Accepting will be Mr. Robertson. [*][b]The late General Thomas D. White, USAF[/b] - Former USAF Chief of Staff and architect of integrating space technology into our modern air defense structure. The word "aerospace" was coined under his watch. Presenter (invited): Secretary of the Air Force, Michael B. Donley. Accepting will be Rebecca White McCoy, daughter of Gen. White.[/list] The NAHF's [URL=http://www.nationalaviation.org/2011-enshrinement/]50th Annual Enshrinement Dinner and Ceremony[/URL] on Saturday, July 16, 2011 is open to the public by advance reservation only. Deadline is July 1, 2011. Reservations may be placed by calling 937-256-0944 ext. 10. Seats are $150 per person and a portion of each seat purchased is deductible as allowed by law. The night before on July 15, the NAHF will host the [URL=http://www.nationalaviation.org/2011-presidents-dinner/]President's Dinner[/URL]. As part of their salute to the Centennial of Naval Aviation, David Hartman will lead a panel of seven former Naval Aviators, including astronauts Gene Cernan and Hoot Gibson.
